In recent years, Xiangxi High-tech Zone has made utmost efforts to coordinate COVID-19 control with economic development. It has adhered to take sci-tech innovation as the engine, actively built innovative platforms, and established a collaborative innovation mechanism among industries, universities and institutions.
At present, 2 academician workstations, 1 national R&D center and 22 provincial and prefecture-level R&D platforms have been built. It has successfully applied for one enterprise technology center of the Industry and Information Technology Department of Hunan Province, and one engineering technology research center of the Department of Science and Technology of Hunan Province.
In addition, the park has continuously increased efforts to cultivate high-tech zones. Up to now, there have been 35 high-tech enterprises in the zone, and 79 technology-based SMEs have been registered.
Next, Xiangxi High-tech Zone will accelerate the introduction of key projects, strengthen the cultivation of key enterprises and technology-based enterprises, further promote the quality improvement, actively explore new sci-tech innovation policies to guide enterprises to further improve their innovation ability and development level, and constantly promote the high-quality development of the zone.
